Remember Your Worth

As you begin your week, I want to take this with you; you deserve the love that you keep giving to everyone else. They say that self care is the best care, but how many are actually practicing what they preach?

I spent years & years giving my time and energy to the wrong things, wrong jobs, the wrong people, but it wasn’t because of anything they were doing for me. As a matter of fact, they were the most unavailable people I had around me at the time. NOTHING was being reciprocated at all & I can’t blame anyone but myself. People will take it as far as you allow them to. They will have you going above & beyond for little to nothing, leaving you feeling drained. When everything you’ve prayed for comes along, you will feel unworthy and underserving if you don’t know your worth. don’t betray yourself. I found this thing called self worth, best discovery I’ve ever made in my life. It’s amazing what happens when you finally start making you a priority. You walk a little different, you talk a little different. Self worth is one hell of a drug. Once you know your worth, you begin to realize the worth of everyone around you & your circle gets smaller & smaller until you realize there’s really only one or two people who belong there. Finding your tribe isn’t the easiest of tasks, but it can be done by just being true to yourself. Begin to make sacrifices for your own peace & don’t allow anything but respect for who you are. Don’t expect someone who doesn’t know their worth to bring value into your life & if they don’t recognize who you are, it is up to you to know exactly who you are & LET IT GO.

Make the necessary changes and adjustments in your life in order to welcome the things that you’ve been praying for. It will transform your life. Drastically.

You deserve the love that you keep giving to everyone else.
