Walk By Faith , Not By Sight
As you take each necessary breath, do you for a second question whether or not this next one will be your last? No & if you do , that’s just weird.
That’s how faith works. It’s your belief in the unseen. You don’t think “I wonder if I’ll have enough breath to last me till next week.” You don’t think “I know that there’s a lot I’ve got to say to him or her, but I need to preserve my breath.” You just breathe. In and out. out and in. Most of us are on auto pilot when it comes to breathing. Did you know that even your breathing should be intentional? Less shallow breaths and more deep, intentional breaths sending each inhale of life to every part of your body . . to every cell, to every muscle, to every bone.
Food, water, and oxygen.
Really the only three things that we need to survive, yet in our culture and society it seems to be the least of importance. Why is that?
Those are the things that we have in abundance, most of us anyway. . . so we don’t take the time out to truly appreciate it. A lot of people don’t even give thanks for their food, don’t bless their water and aren’t mindful of their breath; it’s not until you are without it for a while and then you realize how important it is. Don’t allow yourself to get drawn into the cycle of lack simply because you’ve failed to appreciate what it is that you already have. You already have everything you need, even if you can’t see it. It’s there.
The universe, God, whatever you call the Divine is just waiting for you to appreciate what you’ve already been given.
That job that you prayed for six years ago, that you now hate. Appreciate it for what it is and what it has & still is providing you with. It’s OK to want more, but with more comes more responsibility.
And stop overstaying you’re welcome. People, jobs, homes . . . ALL SEASONAL. When things are removed from your life understand that room is being made for exactly what you’ve been asking for.
Do not go crawling back & definitely don’t try filling that empty spot with some temporary fix. You’re working against yourself and quite honestly it’s a slap in the face to whoever you pray to.
You are whole.
You are never lacking.
You are never without.
Even when it may look that way, understand that if you planted the seed and you are doing the work, you will reap the harvest.
Have faith in your divinity. You will be just fine.
