If It Aint Broke, Break It ...

Comfort and contentment is the number one dream killer. Sometimes as human beings, we get so caught up in our everyday routines that "works" for us that we don't challenge ourselves. We don't push ourselves beyond our limits, therefore missing out on our greatest potential. It is only when you step outside of your comfort zone that new limits are created. Be innovated. For example, the flip phone. . .

I don't know about you, but I loved my razor phone. It was perfect. It got the job done, but lets imagine that the creators of the iPhone would have said "If it aint broke, don't fix it" ? When we were teens with our razor phones, we had no idea that today we would be able to unlock our phone simply by looking at the screen or book vacations at the tip of our fingers, literally. That is the beauty of breaking things that haven't yet been broken. You have to reach below the surface to see that "yeah, this works now, but what about a year from now; What about five years from now?"

Everything in your life can be rethought, worked differently and fixed. There is always room for improvement. This contributes to our growth.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is a statement of blissful ignorance. Fixing things that weren't yet broke is the reason we aren't cavemen anymore.
